Willie the Blue Whale, one of many features of Children's Zoo - Roanoke, Virginia. Located on beautiful Mill Mountain, 800 feet above the city. A zoo especially built for children with real live animals in a setting of Mother Goose and othe familiar stories to delight the hearts of children and adults alike. The zoo was originated and sponsored by the Civitan Club of Roanoke as a City-wide project in 1952."
