The halls of Roanoke Memorial
Hospitals hold fond memories for each of
us . Long after we, the Class of 1964,
have been forgotten, our memories will
linger back to our school of nursing.
Through the past three years, two
people have constantly stood out as inspiring examples to all of the students.
These two people are especially prominent in our memories because they most
often
remembered us.
Dr. and Mrs. Jack Campbell
We will long remember her as she
taught our classes, hustled about the
floors teaching us new procedures, and
stood by us teaching us that nursing requires skill plus love of fellow man.
He will long be remembered as a tower of encouragement; one who had vast knowledge at
hand and was eager to share it with us.
Their ability to inspire students to strive to do their best in any situation and their tactful
wisdom have been influencing factors in the lives of all students who have known them.
We, the Annual Staff of 1963-64, dedicate to you, Dr. and Mrs. Jack Campbell, the 1964
MEDI-CEN.

THE ORDER Of THE GOLDEN RULi

Opport:unit:ies Like
Edison had are

WAITING
FOR

YOU
The inventions of Thomas Edison
have affected the lives of people everywhere. They have created entire industries
- ours, for example.
Under America's Free Enterprise
system, inventive people like Edison can
expect special compensations - profit,
honor and satisfaction.
The hope of attaining such rewards has
been one of our nation's greatest incentives
to progress. It is a goal that prods imaginative minds in their quests for new
products and methods.
Not everyone can be a Thomas Edison.
However, every trained, dedicated graduate
can anticipate a full measure of our society's
rewards . All it takes is a willingness to
work harder and contribute more.
