This image takes place on Henry Street. The artist wrote in the corner of the image, "The Yard Alive 1957" as well as his signature. On the right-most side, Ebony Club is pictured. Receding toward the left, there is then Atlantic Sandwich Shop, a building advertising NW Parking and Pepsi Cola, Nicks Cafe, Brooks Pharmacy, a pool hall, and "Webie Grocery". The other side of the image has more signs but they are cut off. Numerous people are seen entering shops, crossing the street, and conversating.
