Description
This image largely depicts the Henry Street Bridge as it crosses over the Norfolk and Western Railroad Tracks that separate Gainsboro from Downtown Roanoke. Workers of the railway are by the tracks, and other people can be seen walking across the bridge and along sidewalks. At the bottom left corner, a sign indicates "Automobile Exchange" and, also on the right side, are businesses such as "North Carolina Mutual" and "Show Shop". On the right side of the tracks, there are signs indicating "First National Bank", "Grants", and "Wear House 2". The artist signed the work.
