Description

This image depicts some of the businesses on Henry Street. From the left, there are "Brooks Drugs", " Show Shine J. Baker", "Day & Night Cab Stand 371-0932", and "Nicks Cafe". All of the businesses appear to be busy and the street is bustling with people. In the background, the Hotel Roanoke can be seen in black and white, and the Norfolk and Western Railway Office (now Higher Education Center) can be seen in tan off to the right.
