This image depicts the Gainsboro Branch Library after snow has fallen. There are many children playing in the Library Yard, building snowmen and throwing snowballs. The William A. Hunton Branch YMCA can be seen on the far right. A note on the back of the piece reads, "The Negiborhood would meet at the Libary when it snowed we would clean the walkway,, Build snowmen. Ride sled off hill and just have a good time 33. Hours $220.00 No # (16)".
