This image depicts the Henry Street Bridge looking over into downtown Roanoke from Gainsboro. There are two cars going over the bridge, and several people using the stairs to get over the bridge. The bridge passes over the Norfolk and Western Railroad Tracks. On the left side of the image, you can see businesses like "North Carolina Mutual," "Dr. Butlar," "GW Grants," "City Furniture Sales," "Kanes," and "First National Bank and Trust Inc." On the right side of the image, you can see "Auto Exchange Inc," "Martain, Feed Warehouse," "Roanoke Warehouse," and "Pepsi Cola." The Mill Mountain Star can be seen in the background. The street sign at the bottom of the image signifies the intersection of Henry Street and Centre Avenue.
