Description
Interior of Martin's Fish Market. A older man stands in front of the counter with a fish in his hands. A woman in a red outfit stands beside him, looking into the case. A clerk stands behind the register. Behind him, there is a menu- "Porgies $5 00 LB, Spots 45¢, LB, Black Bass 70¢ LB and Trout 65 ¢ LB". There is a sign advertising new fish, and a Pepsi Cola advertisment. There is also a stack of cans, bottles and a scale hanging from the ceiling. To the right of the register, there is a stack of cornmeal sacks beside the window. In the left corner, there is a Coca Cola cooler. Artist signed and dated bottom right corner, wrote "Mr Martians Fish MKT, Gainsboro 1954".
