Title

FE126 Harrison School

Description

The Harrison School was completed in 1916. Two years later, the first high school classes for African American students began at Harrison School. Three students graduated in 1924, due largely to the persistence of Harrison's principal, Lucy Addison. The building is located at 523 Harrison Avenue, NW.
