Description

Drawing looking down Rutherford Ave NE. On the left side is the edge of a brick building and a row of nearly identical houses. A man is leaning against a wall with a cylindrical object tucked under his arm. There is a car further d own the road. On the right side is a building with a window sign reading "B&G Groceries", and a hanging sign reading "B&G, Coak-Cola, ABC", A bird is flying just above the sign. There are two people walking down the sidewalk on the right side, in opposite directions. As they near each other their arms are raised in greeting. Down the center of the drawing, following the road, Kimball Neighborhood, commonly known as "Tank Town", can be seen. Structures from Roanoke Gas Works are visible.
