Business signs can be seen on the left. In order from foreground to background, they read "308", "Barber Shop", "Nicks Cafe, ABC", "Brooks Pharmicy". Two people can be seen standing next to the Barber Shop sign. There is a barber shop pole in red and white beneath the "Barber Shop" sign. There are two cars on the road, likely parked. On the right the buildings can be seen. One has a sign reading "Horse Shoe", and another has "Pool Hall". There is another sign, although it is difficult to read. A taller building at the end of the street has "Dumas", written on the side. The Henry Street Bridge can be seen at the end of the road. In the distance more buildings can be seen, likely downtown Roanoke. The tallest building has a flag on the roof.
