SR006 Shenandoah Hospital

Description

Construction of Shenandoah Hospital commenced in 1912, opening the next year. The hospital was located on West Campbell Avenue between 7th and 8th Streets. Dr. J.H. Dunkley was president and assisted by Dr. Ira Huff, Dr. W.S. Slicer, Dr. J.T. Hughes, and Dr. L.G. Richards. The hospital also had an 11-room house for nurses and doctors.
